“Addicted to flowers, hopeless romantics, and bespoke floral artisans” describes Wanton Poppies. They met at a farmers market and a “budding” friendship grew into a larger idea and tada! The Wanton Poppies was born.
Having each been in the floral and events industry for almost a decade, they’ve had the opportunity to work for the best of the best and bring many skillsets and years of experience when curating and creating their own weddings.
They love getting to know their couples, and their love stories. YOU are inspiring and they believe your florals should be too. Both classically trained in the arts, Skye and Barbara find their ultimate inspiration in the colors, forms, and textures found in nature, and pride themselves on using unique materials to give life to their designs.
They source materials from local farmers, personal gardens and responsible foraging. They believe those are of the best quality and character and help to lower our impact on the environment. Flowers have a power to communicate things that words can’t quite describe. Countless shrieks, giggles, hugs, and exclamations of “there are no words” are the reason they do what they do.
