Florist’s inspiration: Endlessly inspired by color, texture and shape I chose the settee with a bird scene (avian bench painting) for its embodiment of all of these facets. Rich, deep green trees with natural stone elements contrasting with soft, feathery textures of the hens and the intriguing, moody tones of the peacock inspired my color story and choice of florals. All designed to create an artful display of understated elegance and drama with a bit of whimsy which is at the core of my floral designs.
Recipe: Butterfly ranunculus, roses, garden spray roses, delphinium, agapanthus, double daffodils, tweedia, green huck, peacock feathers.
