She Loves Me - Headless Greek Statue  

Inspiration Description:

At She Loves Me, we try to let the flowers speak for themselves -- with some light editing on our part! For this outdoor installation, we wanted to make the florals feel as natural and environmental as possible opting for an overgrown effect and playful interaction between the hard stone and soft living.

Art Description:

This life-size headless statue of an unknown Greek goddess is an ancient antiquity picked up by the Andersons on one of their many tours of the continents. It has been a staple of the garden since its creation.

She Loves Me, Holley Simmons Bio:

She Loves Me is owned by Holley Simmons, the daughter of a seamstress who spent her childhood glueing rhinestones on anything she could find. At the shop, our enthusiastic team takes just-plucked blooms and lovingly spins them into flower magic for your special events, celebrations, and very important deliveries.

 We work with in-season flowers sourced from a number of local, women-owned farms throughout the spring, summer and fall. When winter comes we do our best to work with American-grown blooms.

 In addition to fresh-cut flowers, we offer dried floral arrangements, interior landscaping services, in-person and virtual workshops, as well as micro-weddings. We are a proud member of Upshur Street’s business community in D.C.'s Petworth neighborhood and make it a point to give back regularly.
