Inspiration Description:
Keith Stanley approaches flower arranging like making a piece of art. A painter approaches a canvas choosing the colors, textures and spatial relationships, even the mood to tell a story. All the elements within this painting guide his design interpreting the dramatic portrait of Mrs. Anderson in her diaphanous shawl and gown. Years of studying formal Japanese Ikebana and European Floral Design have given him exciting ways to see the world around us and to be innovative using floral materials and many other unconventional things in his work.
